Secretary Salazar Announces $144,000 for Habitat Improvement On Private Lands in Indiana

Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar announced that $144,000 has been made available in Indiana to restore fish and wildlife habitat on private lands through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The funding will support voluntary habitat improvement projects completed through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Partners for Fish and Wildlife program in partnership with private landowners.
